So Little Time........ARRRRRRGH

Ok, so I sit here knowing that I have all tis packing to do, and I decide to sit and write for a bit.  I've been organizing the bedrooms for he last couple days, and now just to the point that if it's not important, it's being thrown away.  There is so much left to do, but a lot of stuff is Sheldon's and I have to wait for him.

Sheldon and Mom made it  to Yakima yesterday.  I guess Mom ended up throwing up the last few minutes f the flight, then on the drive home.  I feel so bad for her.  Shel helped her get her things unpacked, then had dinner with Monica and her kids.  Jon won't be back until next weekend from his schooling.  After dinner, they meet up with James and Sherri Martinez and visited.  We found out the the Martinez's are going to be at Disneyland on Christmas Day so we are going to hook up with them.  Talk about fun for the kids and us:)  I'm still waiting for more info, but it will be a great vacation.

Well, I need to get going and get the everything done before Shel comes home.

Wow 2 days in a row!  This is a record for me.

Today I had to go in to work and ended up being let off an hour early:)  My boss is trying to follow the owners rules that if we are not busy, then work by yourself.  They have been wanting her to cut daytime hours so since this is my last week, she feels ok about letting me go early.

I have spent this evening packing up most of Mom's stuff.  I think we might be able to get away with 2 suitcases and 2 medium size boxes.  That's pretty good since we moved her down in a small moving truck.  Granted it wasn't full to the top.  She seems really sad about leaving, but I know she is so happy about seeing my brothers too.  I just need to get through this week.  I keep telling her that we will write to her, and send her pictures of all the places we visit.  I hope she will get to enjoy some of our adventures.

Well, another week down.

This upcoming week will just fly by, I can already tell.  I work 3 out of the 5 days, and with getting Mom packed and all the Drs, dentist and ortho appointments for the boys, well, I hope to try and get through the week without going too crazy.  My boss is also planning a party at work for me on Friday, so I need to get my stuff together for the ladies.

Sheldon was released today from both of his church callings.  He wasn't feeling too well this morning, so he wasn't there to see who is replacing him.  I guess Tom Burger will be the 1st counselor in the Elders quorum.  He's a good choice.

Next week I won't be able to teach my primary class, but I am planning on having the kids over on Saturday for the class party.  I hope most of the kids will be able to come.I promised them pizza candy and carmel apples.   Sheldon will be flying home on Sunday during the middle of church, so I will drop the boys off at church then figure out how they will get home.  My last teaching day will be Dec 21st.  That is going to be a hard day to get through my lesson with them.

Off to organize my week!

So if you look to the right of this blog you will see some clocks.  I decided to put these up so that we can see all the different time zones we are now living in or will be living in this next year.  All four of them will stay there until our whole family is finally reunited.  So by the end of the summer we will be down to just two clocks then.  I thought that this would be a good way to get myself excited about this up coming move.  Unfortunately, I just can't seem to get excited about the Bolling AFB move, but I'm hoping that that will change once I'm there.  I am excited about being able to visit some historical sites while their, so it isn't all bad I guess.
Well, I'm off to look for a blood pressure cup for my mother.  I need to monitor her for the next few days.

One day off this week..................

and I spent it trying to figure out how to make my blog look nicer.  I guess once I get to DC I'll have more time to worry about it.  It's not like I didn't get anything done, but I have 12 days before the packers show up, and I have done nothing to get ready for that. I guess I will just try not to worry about that and make the best of this next move.  The one thing I keep telling myself is I only have to see them for the 4 days, then I will never see them again.  So, why should I be embarrassed if things are not totally organized.  Unpacking will feel like Christmas, and it will be very interesting to see what kind of things I'm still lugging around after all these years.  I guess we will have a garage sale in the spring if there is anything worth having one.

Mom is doing a lot better today.  I have a feeling most of her problems are having to do with her meds.  The doctor had changed her pain killers to another less potent brand, and she was just having so much pain that it's hard to walk straight if you're not 94 yrs old.  Also, it looks like her blood pressure it low, so we are trying to get that looked at.  We will see the doctor tomorrow afternoon, then we will go from there.  I will need to buy a blood pressure cuff and take her blood pressure everyday.  If her pressure is too low, then I can omit some of her morning meds.  I feel bad that Bruce and Gail will have to deal with all this, but I think once we get things looked at we will be able to get her on a regimen that will be good and she won't have too much of a problem.  I thought yesterday that she was a going to be gone by the end of the week, that's how much she scared me.  She really had a good day today:)

13 days til P-day! (Packers that is)

OK, it's now December and before we know it the 15th will be here and I will not be ready.

We told my Mom during Thanksgiving that we were going to be moving and that she will be going to live with Bruce and Gail in Selah, WA.  Since that day things have slowly been going wrong with her.  It's like she has lost her will to live.  I was hoping that with only a couple weeks of notice that she would be OK, but I guess it would have been better to just give her w weeks notice.  She has fallen a couple times and each time she hurts her back. Now she can hardly walk without assistance to get to the bathroom.  I told her that she just needs to lay in bed for the next few days and let her back heal.  I might have to have someone come in for the last of this week to watch her so I can finish out my week at work.  Maybe if she's feeling better by next week I will be able to keep working, but if she's not, then I will have to either quit or have someone come in those days too.   Maybe there would be someone from the ward who would like to earn some extra money for Christmas?  I have tomorrow to get this all figured out.
