Today is Mother's Day and so far it's been a great day. I got breakfast in bed from the men in my life, went to church and got so many hugs from the new members of the ward and really enjoyed the lesson's and sacrament meeting. Stayed for choir practice and enjoyed singing with the other's and then came home to get a quick nap followed by my Mother's Day dinner of herb grilled chicken, baked potato and salad. Before dinner Jori called to wish me a Happy Mother's Day, and we got to talk a bit. It was nice and we filled her in on what we've been up too. Now I'm hoping that Christian will call and we can see how his weekend has been going. Life has been great today and I'm really wishing for another day before we have to get back to the grindstone of school, but I know I have to get Malachi going on his lessons so we can be done before we leave for the Netherlands.
We meet an elder at the new ward who is leaving this week for the Netherlands. It was so funny that we were talking with him and found out that he was leaving this week. We gave him our home address and email addresses to give to the Bishop when he gets to Eindhoven. He was told that Eindhoven was going to be his first area he will be assigned to over there and since that's where we'll be living we asked if he would let the Bishop know we are coming at the end of the summer. I also need to talk with him before we go over so I know what we're going to do about Christian's seminary classes for the next couple years and how to contact the CES director.
Malachi is trying to have some people over for a movie tonight. It's only him and Tasha who moved to this new ward so at least they have each other to pal around with during church. I guess they were hatching the movie thing today between classes.
I think I'll try and call my brother's house and see if I can talk with my Mom. I know she won't hear me, but it's the thought that counts.
